Where will the wedding take place?

The wedding, including the civil ceremony and dinner, will be held at the Lantai Estate. Lantai Estate - 2750 Nagykőrös, Alsójárás dűlő 43.

How do I get there? Is there parking on site?

The easiest way to get to the venue is by car. If this is not feasible for you, please contact one of us, and we will help with transportation. There is parking available on a large grassy area at the venue.

When should I arrive?

Guest reception starts at 3:00 PM, so please arrive no earlier than this time. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at the venue, so please arrive by then at the latest.

Where are the nearest accommodation options?

The rooms at the venue are reserved for our closest family members. We ask you to book accommodation for your family in Nagykőrös, or in the surrounding cities. We have gathered a recommended list that you can find in the Accommodations page. here.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Please avoid bright, vivid colors and small patterned clothes.

Can I take pictures at the wedding and post them on social media?

Professional photographers will be working to capture all important, intimate, and funny moments during the wedding, so we ask you not to take pictures or videos during the ceremony. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many pictures as you like. However, please do not post pictures of us on social media; we would like to do this ourselves first.

How do I confirm my attendance or inform you if I cannot attend the wedding?

We have created a form that we ask you to fill out for your family. You can find it here. If you are unable to attend, please send us a message.

What gifts are acceptable or desired for the newlyweds?

If you plan to give us a gift, please place it in an envelope accompanied by a card filled with well-wishes. Thank you!

Are there activities for children at the venue?

Yes, the venue is very child-friendly. There are 3 ponies, 1 cat, and 1 dog, who are very child-friendly and enjoy being petted. There is a playground on site, as well as an indoor baby corner with a changing table. There is also a separate changing room with a comfortable armchair next to the dance floor restroom if you need to retreat for breastfeeding.

Who can I contact if I have any problems or requests at the wedding?

You can contact Gyula Pócs, the master of ceremony, during the wedding. He will be able to assist you with any questions or requests.

Are there special Hungarian traditions I should know about?

Yes, the bridal dance also known as the “money dance”, the bridal dance involves all guests and the bride. Traditionally the master of ceremony would announce that the “bride is for sale” while Hungarian wedding music plays in the background. He would hold a bucket to collect money (cash) from all the guests to “pay” for the privilege of dancing with the bride (usually only for a few seconds of spinning her around).

Will there be an open bar at the venue?

Yes! The drinks are on us; the hangover is on you. :)
